Sardar Udham Review:- A Director's brilliance

When you live across a time where the movie industry is on a marathon to launch new biopics and heart-thumping jingoistic patriotic movies, it is quite a wonder to watch Sardar Udham, one of the best biopics produced in India. Coming from the acclaimed Shoojit Sircar , the biopic on Sardar Udham Singh, can literally be never classified as a Hindi movie. The plot of the movie delves into the journey of Sardar Udham Singh, known for assassinating Michael O’Dwyer in London to avenge the Jallainwala Bagh massacre of 1919 and the court proceedings that continue. Iyobinte Pusthakam Movie Review- An Amal Neerad Beauty

      The much awaited movie 'Iyobinte Pusthakam' was an excellent piece of work from the director cum cinematographer Amal Neerad. The story of the movie is set in the British and post british era in munnar, which shows various stages of iyob's life, played by Lal and the sibling rivalry between his sons ivan, dimitry and aloshy. Fahad excelled in his presentation of punch dialogues and fight sequences as Aloshy. Performance of lal as Iyob was superb. special applause  to jayasurya, who played a cute looking terrific villain, Angoor Rawther. All other actors, Isha Sherwani, padma priya, chemban vinod jose, jinu joseph, vinayakan have done their part in a perfect way. Lena, though had a small role without any dialogues was very good.

    Music by Neha.S.Nair and Yakzan Gary Pereira was suiting the extra ordinary frames of amal neerad. the picturisation of 'Raave' was itself a dazzling proof. Amal neerad was always criticized for the lack of a proper story in his movies, even though the movie would be stylish, but this time, the man had made the mouth shut of all the criticizers with his movie 'iyobinte Pusthakam' with a well packed story, strong powerful dialogues, mind blowing frames and excellent direction.   HATS OFF
